Steven Cove has lived most of his life on cape cod . He has resided in Provincetown since 1999 living on the beach in the West End with his wife Joanne and two cats Tiger and Hawk who gave him inspiration for his cat etchings . He has been called a Renaissance man and truly his interests are all encompassing . This is apparent in his hand  etched glass with themes from Dream Catchers , Historic Provincetown scenes Nudes ,  Yoga poses , Buda images and the famous P-town Bears . Much of his traditional stain glass is placed in antique wood windows . Unique to Steve is his use of agate slices , geods , quartz and amethyst clusters as well as a variety of real shells .Last year he created an extensive line of mermaids . This tear they are joined by Dragons and Fairies also from his love of nature sea Turtles and tropical Frogs . All of these are created in his studio the Wizard’s Workshop on the 3rd floor of Whaler.s Wharf .
